Check These Out: On Set Photos from the Red Dawn Remake

Be disturbed at not understanding. That's one of the phrases the Chinese are using to convince us that we weren't really free when we were run by a Democratic government before they invaded. A new blog called RedDawn2010.com has been following the Red Dawn remake very closely, which includes posting new photos from the set in Pontiac, MI (doubling as Spokane) as often as they can. In one of their galleries they have a few great photos of the set dressing in the small town where the film takes place. It shows all of the Chinese propaganda that was put up in the town as part of their invasion. Anyway, check out these photos!

Indie Trailer Sunday: John Woo's Red Cliff Official Trailer

Magnet debuted the official US trailer for John Woo's Red Cliff on Apple last week, which will finally (after two years) be hitting US theaters in November as part of the Six Shooter Film Series V2. We actually ran the very first teaser trailer for Red Cliff back in February of 2008, just to show you how long this film has been around. I still haven't seen it but I am looking forward to seeing it, just because looks so incredibly epic. As expected, this doesn't feature any dialogue, so as to not scare away Americans who hate subtitles. It does look pretty damn good, it may just be tough to sit through four hours of this. Will you be seeing this?

Exclusive: Walton Goggins Fighting Predators ?

Things have quietly been moving forward on Robert Rodriguez's Predators with Nimrod Antal directing. Although 20th Century Fox has already set a release date for July 7, 2010, there hasn't been much casting news except for the ubiquitous Danny Trejo as someone named "Cuchillo." That is, until now.

ComingSoon.net has heard word that one of Rodriguez's cast will be none other than Walton Goggins, star of the FX series "The Shield."

Unfortunately, we do not have any information yet on which role he might be playing, but we'll update the story as we receive confirmation. Either way, we can probably except there to be a lot more cast announced for the anticipated reboot in the coming weeks.

While in New York to discuss her new indie drama Fix , Olivia Wilde of Fox's hit show "House" gave us her thoughts on completing the long-awaited sequel Tron Legacy .

CS: Now that the shooting of "Tron Legacy" is complete, how do you feel about the experience?

Olivia Wilde: It was completely wild and amazing, and I really felt like I had given birth to a 19-pound baby when it was done. (laughs)

Wilde: That it was, like, the most difficult thing I've ever done. We shot some 20-hour days, we were wearing the suits, which are not easy to wear. Watch This: Second and Final Saw VI Trailer Has Arrived!

A second, and presumably the last, trailer for Lionsgate's Saw VI has debuted on Yahoo tonight. I'll admit that I've still got a soft spot for the Saw movies; every year when each new one is released I go with my good friend and watch it. I've seen every one and I'll probably continue seeing them as long as they keep making them and putting them out in theaters. I wasn't excited for Saw VI until I saw this trailer - it looks intense and awesome, just like almost every other one previously and I can't wait to see what crazy traps and twists and turns they've cooked up for us this time. At least it's an improvement over the first teaser. Watch below!

Second Official Trailer for Martin Scorsese's Shutter Island

Paramount has debuted a second new trailer for Martin Scorsese's Shutter Island today on Apple. This new version features a few of the same scenes we'd seen in the original trailer plus plenty more we haven't seen yet. It also doesn't spoil any of the twists and turns anymore, thankfully. The only other major change is the release date - from October to February of next year (as we already reported). Despite all that, I still think this looks incredible. It's no B-rate thriller, this looks fantastic, like it could've been one of this year's best. I've got very high hopes for this, Scorsese is brilliant, and I expect nothing less for Shutter Island.

I really, really wish I could've been seeing this movie sometime this month, but damn them for moving it!
