David Fincher's Social Network Movie Gets a Greenlight
Posted on 16:00 by Unknown

The End of Show blog (via SlashFilm) is reporting as of yesterday that David Fincher's The Social Network has been given the greenlight from Columbia Pictures and will start shooting this year, as I speculated earlier this month. They're reporting that its been given a $47 million budget and will start production in October. Fincher's deal to direct has been signed and Scott Rudin, Kevin Spacey and Dana Brunetti are producing. They are currently working on casting at the moment and scouting shooting locations in Cambridge and Boston. I'm sure we'll be hearing a lot more about this production very soon.
