Another Weinstein Reboot: Stephen King's Children of the Corn
Posted on 16:00 by Unknown

According to Variety and the still-surviving Weinstein Company, Stephen King's classic short story Children of the Corn is set to be re-imagined and brought to the screen yet again. Previously seen in the 1984 film, directed by Fritz Kiersch, the book tells the story of a boy preacher who persuades the children in a small Nebraska town to kill all of the adults. Tapped to transform King's prose to script is Ehren Kruger, who is unfortunately co-responsible for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen most recently. Yikes, I know. More horror reboots? Couldn't this classic just stay a classic forever?
