Rashida Jones & Chris Messina to Star in Indie 'Monogamy'

Two of my favorite up-and-coming underrated actors are set to start together in an indie romantic comedy. Rashida Jones and Chris Messina will star in Monogamy, which will be the feature directing debut of Murderball co-director Dana Adam Shapiro. This is described as a "cautionary tale about sex, photography and fear of marriage," that will center on a young couple's relationship and its trials. The screenplay was co-written by Shapiro and Evan Wiener. Production on Monogamy apparently already started this summer in New York. The hope is to have it shot and ready to hit the festival circuit in early 2010 (e.g. Sundance).
