Rumor: Ivan Reitman May Be Back to Direct Ghostbusters 3?

We stopped reporting on Ghostbusters 3 a while ago because every update was some bullshit rumor or a quote that wouldn't make any sense. However, our friends at Bloody-Disgusting (who always have reliable sources) have an interesting update on the project today that I just have to throw out. They say that Ivan Reitman, who directed the original two Ghostbusters movies, is attached to potentially direct Ghostbusters 3. "While he's attached, the word is that he hasn't decided whether or not he really wants to direct, yet." Not sure what that means exactly, probably that he's not 100% on-board, but this is still great to hear. Right?

They also say that Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver have all confirmed their involvement as well. And as for the storyline, here's what they've heard: "The sequel takes place when the paranormal researchers 'reopen' their ghost ...
